Do you have a Chemical or Process Engineering Degree and previous working experience in process engineering design?
Don’t let your talent go to waste? This influential role with an innovative formulation chemical producer will inject new energy into your career.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be undertaking designs for new processes based on lab-scale developments and improvements to existing processes. These processes include the production of high-value materials, which are then formulated into various mediums for final supply to the customer.
This is a key role within a leading innovation business with a lot of autonomy.
Where you fit in:
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you’ll be in charge of technology selection, development and optimisation of a complex process. You’ll also be tasked with undertaking process engineering calculations and P&ID development.
Part of the general day to day duties, you’ll be supporting the safety assessments of new designs and the modifications to existing systems. As well as general support for the process development team to develop innovative solutions.
What we’re looking for:
Previous working experience in process engineering design goes without saying, as does a Chemical or Process Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification. However, an experience of operations in high temperatures along with solids handling operation at high temperatures would be a massive plus for this position.
Working professionally in a small company environment also won’t phase you, this company is growing so it won’t be an SME for long. However, you are already a self-motivated, disciplined and positive person and won’t need to have too many Managers looking over your shoulder.
