Your degree qualification, experience of Python programming and good understanding of electronics and its core principles is essential for our client

Our client is a world leader in ultra-low-cost flexible electronics, and they develop unique technology within flexible integrated circuits which can be embedded into everyday objects. Using low-cost silicon-based ICs they support a range of functionality including Radio-frequency identification and Near-field communication. Due to ongoing success they are now recruiting for a Semiconductor Test Engineer to join an Operations team based at their Sedgefield site. You will hold Semiconductor industry experience and have technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out the evaluation of various semiconductor devices
• Perform automation and optimisation of tests
• Develop test plans and procedures and be responsible for the documentation
• Write bespoke scripts for instrument control and data analysis

Experience & Qualifications

• Candidates will hold a Degree qualification within Engineering or Physics
• Must hold experience of Python programming
• Ability to use standard electronics equipment such as: soldering iron, multi-meter, oscilloscopes
• It is essential that you have an understanding of electronics and its core principles
• Experience of statistical methods and data analysis
• Extensive problem-solving skills
